Klamath Family Head Start Guide to a Hybrid Model of Learning
While in-person classrooms are limited to 10 children, we do offer part-day and full-day modules during the COVID-19 pandemic. We will continue to support families with Virtual Learning Services, through the outreach of teachers and other support staff.
We will use a combination of phone calls, video calls, texts and emails to support our families. Families will move between service models depending on each classroom’s individual circumstances.
For example, if a classroom needs to close due to a confirmed COVID case, the classroom would begin virtual services. When community health conditions indicate it is safe to do so, classrooms will transition back to the previous hybrid service model. Virtual Classes may also have an opportunity to change service models as community safety conditions improve.
