Head Start

At Klamath Family Head Start, our goal is to help children become happy, enthusiastic and confident learners, setting the stage for a lifetime of success in school and beyond. We offer creative curriculum and hands-on opportunities to help each child learn and grow in their own individual, wonderful way.

We use evidence-based activities in the classroom that promote teamwork, self-confidence, curiosity, motor-skills development, and fun!

Nationwide Program

Head Start is a federally-funded program that offers free services for low-income families with children who are three or four years old on or before September 1st of their enrollment year, as well as children with special needs or disabilities. Nationwide, Head Start programs promote school-readiness, social skills, and cognitive development by providing educational, nutritional, and social services to enrolled children and their families.
